Trip to Santiago de Compostela

After departing at the scheduled time, you will enjoy a full-day trip to the World Heritage City of Santiago de Compostela (guided tour). It is considered a Western spiritual reserve and one of the main Pilgrimage sites of the world. The Cathedral, placed in the Praza do Obradoiro, is where the remains of Saint James and his disciples Athanasius and Theodore lie. The Platerías, Quintana and Acibechería squares are some of the highlights of this tour.

The Hostal dos Reis Católicos, which is nowadays a Parador luxury hotel, and the old San Xerome hospital (the vice-chancellor’s office of the more-than-500-years-old University of Santiago de Compostela) are a must, too. An optional lunch at a restaurant will be offered. During the afternoon, you will enjoy some free time to visit the town at your own pace. Finally, a bus trip will take you back to the departure location.
