Journal of International Students
The journal publishes scholarly peer-reviewed articles on international students in tertiary education, secondary education, and other educational settings that make significant contributions to research, policy, and practice in the internationalization of education worldwide. We encourage the submission of manuscripts from researchers and practitioners around the world from a myriad of academic fields and theoretical perspectives, including international education, comparative education, human geography, global studies, linguistics, psychology, sociology, communication, international business, economics, social work, cultural studies, and other related disciplines. We are especially interested in submissions which mark a new and demonstratively significant advancement in research on international students on topics such as: Cross-cultural studies of acculturation, intergroup relations, and intercultural communication Career preparation, employability, and career outcomes of short- and long-term mobility Development of international student social networks Emerging trends related to the mobility of international students and scholars English-mediated instruction (EMI) and second language acquisition (L2) Experiences of globally mobile LGBTQ+ students and other student populations Geopolitical perspectives and policies related to international students and other immigrants seeking education Global learning involving diverse people collaboratively analyzing and addressing complex problems that transcend borders International faculty, teaching assistants, and postdoctoral researchers Multicultural, intercultural, and cross-cultural engagement New educational contexts that involve the use of emerging technologies and online learning International student experiences in transnational higher education providers and programs.
Journal of School Administration Research and Development
The Journal of School Administration Research and Development (JSARD) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal that supports the development and dissemination of research and scholarship in the area of K-12 school administration and leadership.
JSARD’s mission is to publish and disseminate relevant, high-quality literature in educational leadership in order to empower researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to improve K-12 schools. The journal focuses primarily on schools within the United States; however, we also welcome articles on K-12 education from around the world that have wide implications, regardless of the educational setting. JSARD publishes at least twice annually.
Journal of Comparative & International Higher Education
The Journal of Comparative and International Higher Education (JCIHE) is an open access, independent, peer-reviewed, international, and multi-disciplinary journal designed for advancing the field of comparative and international higher education.
The objectives and purpose of the Journal of Comparative and International Higher Education (JCIHE) are to unite researchers undertaking comparative projects. JCIHE is also a forum for reflective and critical thinking on comparative and international higher education. JCIHE is concerned with showcasing new and diverse international research that uses rigorous methodology that focuses on theory, policy, practice, critical analysis, and development analysis of issues that influence higher education. JCIHE has as its core principles: a) comparative research; b) engagement with theory; and c) diverse voices in terms of authorship.

Higher Education Politics and Economics is an academic, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal on higher education featuring research from a range of perspectives, including education finance, political science, social science, policy, and law to critically examine dynamics in the nexus of social, political, and economic forces shaping major changes in higher education in the US and around the world.
Journal of Underrepresented & Minority Progress
The Journal of Underrepresented and Minority Progress (JUMP) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, international, open-access journal published by STAR Scholars Network.
JUMP seeks to advance knowledge of minority and underrepresented people in local, regional, and international settings by publishing narratives, theoretical and empirically based research articles, and reflections. JUMP is indexed in major databases.
The Journal is international in scope and includes work by scholars in a wide range of academic fields and disciplines. Contributions from researchers and professionals in fields like sociology, psychology, higher education, philosophy, education, and cultural studies are welcome in the Journal.
The Journal’s audience includes scholars and researchers in social sciences who work on the issues of ethnicity and race, caste and class, religion and spirituality, gender and sexual orientation, power and privilege, wealth and income, health and well-being, beliefs and value systems, and the intersections of these issues.

Critical Internationalization Studies Review
The Critical Internationalization Studies Network brings together scholars, practitioners, educators, students, and community organizations interested in reimagining dominant patterns of relationship, representation, and resource distribution in the internationalization of education. Beyond fostering engagements between diverse critical perspectives, we seek to facilitate collaboration, the sharing of information about events and opportunities, and the exchange of knowledge and pedagogical resources. While the emphasis of the network is on higher education contexts, there are many resonances with K-12 and informal education contexts as well.
